Mrs. Shepherd started teaching at Cypress Woods High School in 2021. She previously taught at Cypress Ridge High School from 2016-2021. No stranger to Cypress Woods, Mrs. Shepherd graduated in 2010 and was an active member in FFA where she served as an officer, raised rabbits and goats, and competed on Quiz Team and Dairy Foods Judging (now Milk Quality). Mrs. Shepherd graduated from Texas A&M University with her Bachelors in Animal Science Production and Minor in Business Administration in December of 2013. She then went on to get her Masters in Agricultural Development with an emphasis in Extension Education and a graduate certificate in Non-Profit Management in August of 2015. She served as 4-H Program Assistant in Llano County from 2015-2016. While in college, she was an active member of Saddle & Sirloin and served as Agricultural Council Representative in 2012-2013. She was also very active in Horsemen’s Association and worked at both the TAMU Horse Center and Equestrian Center while she was a student. She is an avid duck hunter and shows her horse occasionally in local ranch horse shows.
